Tiny Top Hat

I. Am. Back..... Again. A lot of life changes and I'm getting back to my creative roots. I want to be creative again!!! I am going to try my hardest to post something every Friday. Fridays are good. And I think I can commit to once a week, don't you?

Tomorrow I am off to go shopping at a vintage shop in San Jose, CA with my mom and aunt. I have been waiting to do this for a very long time. I am super excited. I will tell you guys all about it. :)

This week I have a video for you. I made this really cute miniature top hat to go with my 1952 Butterick dress for one of my best friend's bridal shower. I was the maid of honor and so I had the privilege of throwing her shower - a mad tea party theme. It was a lot of fun. Enjoy!

Radio Silence

Hey all! Sorry about the major lack of posts this last half of May. I have been very busy working on my 1952 dress from the Butterick pattern I got off ebay last month-ish. I am almost done - just got to hem it and finish the belt... which I've been working on all day today and last night. You will hear that story when the time comes. The belt buckle I was going to use is not going to fit so I need to alter this one or find another one. I will let you know when I finish. :) Looking forward to it!

Latest Ebay Win

I am super excited about this pattern I recently won on ebay. I don't shop ebay often but I had to have this - it was my size and the price was right so I went for it. Eek! I can't wait to make it!!!
